Financial manager John Westerfield graduated cum laude with a bachelor of arts in government from Dartmouth College, before pursuing an MBA in general management from Harvard Business School. He began his career with Morgan Stanley, serving in positions such as managing director and global head of the firm’s Commercial Mortgage Backed Securities Group. In 2008, John Westerfield shifted his focus to evaluating and investing in various commercial real estate opportunities.
Currently a resident of Bronxville, New York, Mr. Westerfield serves as a managing member with Braddock Capital Management and as CEO of Mitsui Fudosan America, Inc. A member of the investment committees at Lawrence Hospital and the Reformed Church of Bronxville, he also sits on the board of the Community Fund of Bronxville, Eastchester, and Tuckahoe.
Active within various local charities and educational initiatives, Mr. Westerfield and his wife contribute to the Bronxville School Foundation, The Foundation for Educational Choice, and the Harlem Children's Zone. Additionally, their support of the Skills USA program at Roosevelt High School has improved educational opportunities for more than 40 students.
